Howya! (as a Dubliner might say)

Welcome to The Dublin Horseshoe Company! (or as we like to say ‘Our Little Irish Company’). We sell horseshoes directly from the beautiful and enchanting Emerald Isle. We feel that if there’s any luck to be found anywhere, Ireland would surely be the place to find it.

Ireland is a GORGEOUS country steeped in tradition with countless enchanting tales of myth and folklore dating back hundreds and hundreds of years.  A dear old land of leprechauns, banshees, fairies and some of the most gorgeous scenery in all the world. With such rolling green hills for miles and miles, a spectacular coastline that never ends and stunning rainbows that constantly appear and disappear at the blink of an eye........it's really no wonder that Ireland is truly a magical place. If you’ve been to Ireland, then you surely know this to be true. If you haven’t been, please go…..it’s absolutely unforgettable and we are certain that you’ll leave a piece of your heart there.

We decided back in 2013, with a little help from a friendly leprechaun, to import horseshoes to the states. NO EASY TASK! And it still isn’t any easier, just to let you know. We learned very quickly that the Irish have their own way of doing things, but when a shipment finally arrives it is well worth the trouble. The heavens open, angels sing and all is right with the world again…and we wouldn’t have it any other way. After all, the best things in life are definitely worth fighting for and we surely know about that!

Here’s an interesting fact: Ireland has a very rich history of horse racing with 26 racecourses in The Republic of Ireland alone and two more in Northern Ireland.

Naturally then, it only makes sense that the luckiest of horseshoes come from Ireland. Our horseshoes are forged and fitted by blacksmiths, who are well practiced in their trade, fitting the hooves of thoroughbred horses, work horses, eventing horses, dressage horses, show jumping horses, ponies and privately owned horses…..and that, we would say.......makes for VERY lucky shoes indeed.

We’re so excited to offer a little bit of Ireland's heritage and tradition from right here in the states, making them a very special and unique gift to give or receive. We all could use a little luck, right? Or we may know someone in need of a little luck. That’s what we’re here for! We are well aware that ALL horseshoes are considered lucky, no matter where they’re from, but we wanted you to know that the luckiest ones come from Ireland.....and, we just so happen to sell them :-)
