Meet Sarah Callow

One of Ireland’s only female farriers

Sarah, native to England’s Isle of Man, lives and works on her husband’s farm in Co Wicklow, Ireland with her two small children. She is a mobile farrier traveling for work mainly in Counties Wicklow, Carlow, Kildare and Dublin. She was apprenticed at age 19 and has worked very hard in the last twenty years as one of Ireland’s only female farriers. We are so proud to know her and very honored to have her collecting shoes for our little company while she works around Ireland.

Since we are an entirely female owned business, it is a huge thrill to be in support of another female business owner across the sea. She is quite impressive, does amazing work and we are so happy and grateful.
